36V, 60V, 72V. Pick the pack.
MotoTec names every bike after its motor watts, which makes the range look like a straight line. It is not. The pack is the real divider, and it decides seat height and rider weight as much as it decides speed.
First bike
$399 to $799 · 15.5 to 23 mphSteel frames, lithium packs and 20 to 24.5 inch seats, all rated to a 150 to 175 lb rider. The 300w runs three speeds on a button; the Demon uses a key lock; the 1000w and the 36v Pro use a variable knob. All four are speed-limited by design, which is the point of the tier.
- Voltage 36V
- Top speed 15.5 TO 23 MPH
- Seat height 20 TO 24.5 IN
- Rider limit 150 TO 175 LB
In this tier: MotoTec 36v 300w, 36v 790w Demon, 36v 1000w, 36v Pro 1200w

$999 to $1,199 · 31 to 40 mphTwo bikes and a real jump. Both run hydraulic forks with 110 to 120 mm of travel, discs at both ends and a variable-knob controller; the 48v adds an IPX6 water rating and the 60v adds a quick-removal pack. Seats reach 27 inches and both still cap the rider at 150 lb, so treat them as fast youth bikes rather than adult machines.
- Voltage 48 TO 60V
- Top speed 31 TO 40 MPH
- Seat height 27 IN
- Rider limit 150 LB

$2,499 to $5,999 · 5 to 30 kWThis is where MotoTec stops making youth bikes. Three-position handlebar switches instead of knobs, 21 and 18 inch tires on the Venom, 31.5 to 35.4 inch seats and rider limits of 210 to 330 lb. MotoTec quotes 1,200 N·m of peak wheel torque on the 30,000 W Venom against a 300 A peak battery current — a burst figure, not a rating.
- Voltage 72V
- Peak power 5,000 TO 30,000W
- Seat height 31.5 TO 35.4 IN
- Rider limit 210 TO 330 LB

MotoTec parts are model-specific far more often than they look. Each bike here carries a platform code, and the store filters to parts confirmed for that exact frame — sprockets, pads, controllers, plastics and packs.
Find parts for my bikeFour things MotoTec does its own way
MotoTec publishes more detail than most brands in this category and almost none of it in a standard format. These are the four places it trips people up.
Speed control
Three different systems across eleven bikes. A button or key lock on the smallest, a variable knob on the 36v 1000w and the 36v/48v Pro, and a three-position handlebar switch on the 72V machines. Only the knob also sets motor current and throttle response, which is the setting that actually softens a bike for a new rider.
Watts
A "72v 8000w Pro" is named after its motor, not its output at the wheel. On the Venom, MotoTec publishes a separate peak of 12,000 or 30,000 W measured against a 300 A peak battery current. Those are burst numbers held for seconds, not a continuous rating.
Battery
MotoTec still ships sealed lead acid on parts of its wider range — heavier, slower to charge, shorter-lived. Every bike on this page is lithium, and the 60v Pro and both Venoms use a quick-release pack you can carry inside to charge.
Fit
20 to 35.4 inches across eleven bikes, with rider limits from 150 to 330 lb. That is the whole span from a first bike to a full-size motorcycle inside one brand, and it is the number to buy on.
