Fits your bike
Fit beats everything else
Price, brand and graphics are all downstream of whether the thing actually fits your head.
How it should feel
The helmet should move your scalp when you rock it, not slide on it. Pressure spread evenly, no hot spots, and it should not shift when you shake your head with the strap undone.
Sizing
Measure the circumference about a centimetre above your eyebrows and use the manufacturer's chart. Head shape matters as much as size — an oval head in a round shell gets pressure points however correct the number is.
When to replace
The liner protects by crushing, and a crushed liner does not spring back. Replace after any impact, even one with no visible damage. Otherwise most makers say five years from first use.
Returns
We take helmets back unworn, tags attached, liner untouched. Once one has been worn outside, nobody can certify it as un-impacted, which is why this is industry-wide rather than our preference.

About Helmets
What is here. Four helmets: the Yozma Off-Road Dirt Bike Helmet, the Yozma Dirt Bike Helmet, the Heybike Off-Road Helmet with sun visor and the Heybike Full-Face Helmet. Between them the collection covers the two shapes riders ask for, a full-face shell that covers the chin and an off-road shell with a peak, which on the Heybike version includes a sun visor.
How riders choose. The decision is speed and terrain. An electric dirt bike reaches speeds bicycle gear was never designed for, so riders on a Surron, Talaria or Yozma IN 10 usually go full-face or off-road. A commuter rider who mostly stays on pavement may take the off-road shell for the visor and airflow. Whatever the shape, the fit should be snug with no side-to-side movement before the strap is done up. Read the sizing on the product page and measure your head rather than guessing from a hat size.
Gear and fitment. Helmets are not tied to a bike model, so there is no fitment badge to match; sizing is the only fitment that matters. Pair a helmet with goggles, gloves and body armor from the neighboring gear collections, or take the Heybike Safety Kit, Helmet and Protection, from the Bundles collection, which puts helmet and protection in one box.
