Goggles, not sunglasses

What they are actually for

Roost and branches

The real hazard

Goggles are not about sunlight. They are about the stone the bike in front just threw and the branch you did not see. An eye injury ends far more than the ride.

Foam against skin

Sealing

The seal is what keeps dust out. Goggles should sit against your face, not against the helmet — a gap at the top is where everything gets in.

Match the light

Lens tint

Clear for dusk and tree cover, tinted for open sun. A dark lens in a wooded trail is worse than no lens, because you cannot see the roots.

Never wipe it dry

Care

Dust on a lens plus a dry cloth equals scratches. Rinse first, then blot, and let the foam dry before it goes back in the bag.

Goggles questions, answered

Will sunglasses do?
Not off-road. Goggles seal against your face and are built to take an impact from a stone or a branch; sunglasses do neither, and they come off when you need them most.
Which lens tint?
Clear under tree cover or at dusk, tinted in open sun. A dark lens on a wooded trail hides the roots, which is the thing you most need to see.
How does this ship?
Free US shipping over $99. Everything leaves in 1 to 4 business days. Parts go by ground; complete bikes go boxed and insured by freight.

About Goggles

What is here. One product today: the Yozma Dirt Bike Goggles. It is a small collection on purpose. Goggles are the piece of gear riders most often forget until the first face full of roost or a bug at speed, and one solid pair is what most riders need.

How riders choose. Goggles are matched to the helmet, not the bike. The frame has to sit inside the eye port of an off-road or full-face helmet without gaps at the nose or temples, and the strap has to reach around the shell. If you ride in dust, a lens you can wipe clean is the practical default, and tinted lenses are a poor choice at dusk. Riders who wear glasses should confirm the goggles clear their frames. Lens, frame and strap details for the Yozma goggles are on the product page.

Gear and fitment. Goggles carry no bike fitment tag, so there is no badge to match. They pair with the helmets, gloves and body armor in the neighboring gear collections, and the Bundles collection carries Yozma and Heybike safety kits for riders starting from nothing.
