What you are actually buying

These five listings are the same UTV in white, black, red, blue and pink. Nothing else differs between them, so the only real questions are about the machine.

Four motors

Drive

A 12V 35 W motor at each wheel, which is what makes it genuinely 4x4 rather than a rear-drive toy with knobby styling. Twin 12V 7Ah batteries give 12V 14Ah in total, and the charger is in the box.

Pedal or remote

Control

Control switches between an onboard foot pedal and a 2.4 GHz parental remote, so an adult can take over mid-drive. Forward is 5 mph, reverse is 2.5, and lifting off the pedal stops it quickly.

88 lb, ages 3 to 6

Fit

Mini Motos rates it to an 88 lb rider and suggests 3 to 6 years old. It has opening doors, a belted leather seat, working front and rear lights, a rear trunk, spring suspension at all four wheels and EVA tires — which are solid, so there is nothing to puncture and nothing to inflate.

Mini Motos questions, answered

What is the difference between the five listings?
Color, and nothing else. White, black, red, blue and pink are the same 12V 4x4 UTV with the same four 35 W motors, the same twin 12V 7Ah batteries, the same 5 mph forward and 2.5 mph reverse, and the same 88 lb rider limit.
How does the parental remote work?
It is a 2.4 GHz handset that takes control away from the foot pedal, so an adult can steer and stop the UTV while a child is in it. Control switches between the two — the child drives with the pedal until you take over.
What age and size is it for?
Mini Motos suggests 3 to 6 years old with a maximum rider weight of 88 lb. It seats one, with a seat belt on a leather seat, opening doors and a rear trunk.
What do the EVA tires mean in practice?
EVA is a solid foam tire rather than an air-filled one. Nothing to puncture and nothing to pump up, and it is quieter on pavement. It also has less give than a pneumatic tire, which is why the UTV carries spring suspension at all four wheels.
How does it ship, and what is the warranty?
Boxed, free within the lower 48, typically leaving in 1 to 4 business days. Mini Motos covers it with a 30-day parts replacement warranty; returns are 14 days from delivery.
