The 790W neodymium magnet motor and 8Ah lithium pack run up to 14 miles per charge in optimum conditions.
The MotoTec Demon pairs a 36V 790W neodymium magnet motor with an 8Ah lithium battery in a steel-framed dirt bike for riders 13 and up. Its three speeds of 5, 10, and 18 mph are selected with a key lock, so a parent decides when the faster settings open up.
The lithium pack delivers up to 14 miles per charge in optimum conditions and recharges in 4 to 6 hours. Two front shocks and one rear shock carry the 23-inch seat height, with disc brakes front and rear on 2.5x10 knobby pneumatic tires and aluminum rims. Handlebars adjust forward and back, a battery meter shows charge, and the rider limit is 150 lbs. It is CEC certified for California sale, with a 30-day parts replacement warranty.
