The MotoTec HP122E is a 300W entry step into electric dirt bikes, with a low 20-inch seat height and a stout 175 lb rider limit. Three button-selected speeds of 5, 7.5, and 15.5 mph let the pace grow with the rider, and a half twist throttle keeps control simple.
Power comes from a UL 2489 certified 36V 5.2Ah lithium battery good for about 45 minutes of riding, with a 4-hour recharge from empty. The steel frame rolls on 12-inch wheels with a rear drum brake and a single rear hydraulic spring shock. At 39 lbs it is easy to load in a trunk and easy to pick back up after a tip-over. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
