About Macfox
What Macfox makes. Macfox builds moped-style Class 2 electric bikes - pedals, a thumb throttle, and a hard 20 mph ceiling with no app unlock behind it. Federal law treats that as a bicycle, so there is no license, no registration and no insurance. Every system is UL 2849 certified and every single-pack battery configuration is UL 2271 certified.
The range, smallest to largest. The M16 is the youth bike, on 16 x 4 inch tires with a 28.7 inch seat for riders from 3'11". The X1S is the platform most owners modify: 500W, 20 x 4 inch tires, a carbon steel frame with reinforced rear supports. The X1S x Bs.zay is that bike in a limited pearl white. The X7 and X7L add the widest tires Macfox builds - 20 x 4.5 front and 20 x 5.0 rear - and a 624 Wh pack. The X2 Pro tops it out at 750W, 65 N·m and 960 Wh, and is the only one with suspension at both ends.
How the parts are listed. Macfox fitment is genuinely per-model - the same crank set, kickstand, tube or throttle often carries a different part number for each bike, and the X2 and X2 Pro are not interchangeable. Every part page here carries a compatibility table naming the exact models, with Macfox's own wording where they publish it and an honest "ask us" where they do not. Batteries carry one useful exception: the interfaces are shared across the range, so a bigger pack from another model is a legitimate range upgrade as long as it is not smaller than the one your bike shipped with.
Pick the platform. We handle the rest.
Bikes ship free, parts are verified, and fitment questions get answered within 24 hours.
