About this part

Macfox brake pads are the factory replacement pads for the hydraulic caliper on the X7 and X7L. Worn pads are the usual cause of a brake that has gone quiet on power or noisy under braking, and they are the simplest brake part to wear out over regular use.

Replace pads in pairs, per wheel, and bed them in on a quiet stretch of road before riding on them normally. Pads are the cheapest brake service there is, and checking pad thickness regularly is an easy way to catch wear before it reaches the rotor.
