The widest tires Macfox makes, on a frame built to be modified
20 x 4.5 front and 20 x 5.0 rear, 624 Wh, and a 20 mph Class 2 ceiling - with a carbon steel frame that expects to be taken apart.
Macfox calls the X7 the little monster of the road, and the reason is underneath it: custom 20 x 4.5 inch front and 20 x 5.0 inch rear fat tires, the widest the company builds. That footprint is what makes an 87 lb moped-style bike feel planted rather than nervous.
A 500W motor peaking at 750W holds it to a 20 mph Class 2 ceiling, so it is street legal without paperwork, and the 624 Wh pack is good for up to 35 miles - or up to 70 with the second battery. The frame is high-strength carbon steel and deliberately plain, because most X7 owners do not leave them plain for long.

A moped-style commuter that is legally a bicycle
The X7 is built for the rider who wants the presence of a small motorcycle without the license, the plates or the insurance. Federal law treats a Class 2 e-bike as a bicycle, and Macfox holds the X7 to that line: 20 mph, throttle and pedal assist, UL 2849 certified end to end.

500W nominal, 750W peak, capped at 20 mph
The motor is a rear hub unit making 500W nominal and 750W at peak. Macfox caps it at 20 mph rather than selling a bike that has to be unlocked to be useful, so what you buy is what is legal to ride on the road.
624 Wh in the downtube, and room for a second
The 48V 13Ah pack locks into the frame and lifts out to charge indoors. Macfox quotes up to 35 miles on one and up to 70 on two, measured with an average rider cruising steadily in second gear - so treat those as the ceiling.
What a full charge costs you
20 x 4.5 in front, 20 x 5.0 in rear
Front and rear are different sizes on purpose - the wider rear puts the contact patch where the drive is. Macfox had these made rather than buying off the shelf, and they are the single biggest reason the X7 rides the way it does.
Hydraulic hybrid spring fork, adjustable
The fork pairs a hydraulic damper with a coil, and it is adjustable rather than fixed - which matters on a bike whose rider weight limit runs to 330 lb. Rear is rigid; the X2 Pro is the model to look at if you want suspension at both ends.
Four-piston hydraulic discs
Four pistons rather than two, front and rear. On an 87 lb bike carrying up to 330 lb of rider and cargo at 20 mph, that is not overkill - it is the difference between stopping and slowing down.
Backlit LCD and a throttle you can move
Speed, battery and mileage on a backlit LCD that stays readable after dark. The thumb throttle is removable and position-adjustable, so it works whether you accelerate with your left hand or your right.
A long seat and folding rear pegs
The seat is long enough to move around on or to carry a passenger, and the rear pegs fold down when someone is back there and tuck against the frame when they are not. The knurled top is there so a wet shoe still holds.

- Macfox is the manufacturer and carries a 2-year limited warranty; MotorHabit is the dealer and every claim starts with us.
- Report shipping damage within 7 days of delivery, with photos, so we can file the carrier claim in time.
- The battery is UL 2271 certified in its single-pack configuration. A dual-battery setup is outside that certification's scope - Macfox states this and so do we.
- Modifying the controller or the electronic control system voids the warranty, and Macfox recommends against it.
