The Freego Nova 4 is not street legal. No pedals, no US e-bike class rating, and a 45 mph Sport mode that is outside every class that exists. Eco mode caps it at 28 mph but that does not make it road legal either. Ride it on private land, closed courses and OHV trails where local rules allow.
280 N·m, and a 19/17 wheel stagger
A real mid-drive on a proper dirt-bike wheel pairing, with 203 mm four-piston brakes at both ends. Off-road and private property only.
The Nova 4 is Freego's mid-size mid-drive. 3,000 W nominal and 6,000 W peak through a centrally mounted brushless motor making 280 N·m, on a 60V 30Ah pack - 1,800 watt-hours built from 96 21700 cells. Two modes: Eco caps it at 28 mph, Sport opens it up to 45 mph.
The chassis is high-strength steel tube with a hydraulic inverted front fork and a hydraulic rear shock. Four-piston hydraulic calipers on 203 mm rotors at both ends. Wheels run a 19 inch front and a 17 inch rear on 70/100-19 and 80/100-17 puncture-resistant tires - the classic dirt-bike stagger rather than the matched pair most e-motos use. Curb weight is 132 lb, max load 264 lb, and the 67.2V 5A charger refills the pack in five to seven hours.
Off-road use only. No pedals, no US e-bike class, not street legal.

28 mph in Eco, 45 mph in Sport
Freego splits the Nova 4's output in two. Eco caps the bike at 28 mph, which is the mode to leave it in when you are handing the bars to someone who has never ridden a mid-drive. Sport unlocks the full 6,000 W peak and 280 N·m for 45 mph. The controller behind it runs 80 A nominal and 260 A peak.
60V 30Ah - 1,800 watt-hours
1,800 Wh built from 96 cells in the 21700 format, which is the size that replaced 18650 in serious packs - more energy per cell and better heat behavior under load. Freego quotes 25 to 50 miles from it and the 67.2V 5A charger takes five to seven hours to refill it.

19 inch front, 17 inch rear
Most e-motos at this money run the same wheel front and rear because it is cheaper. The Nova 4 runs a 19 inch front on a 70/100 tire and a 17 inch rear on an 80/100 - the pairing every petrol dirt bike has used for decades, because a taller front wheel rolls over obstacles and a shorter, fatter rear puts power down. Both are tubed and puncture-resistant.

Four-piston hydraulic calipers on 203 mm discs at both ends, fed by an inverted hydraulic front fork and a hydraulic rear shock on a high-strength steel pipe frame. Curb weight lands at 132 lb with a 264 lb load rating.

Shipping & delivery
- Ships free from Freego's US warehouse in Chino, California.
- Freego dispatches in-stock bikes within 1 to 3 business days, then quotes 3 to 8 business days in transit.
- You get tracking as soon as the carrier scans it.
- Lower 48 and DC only - Freego does not deliver to Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other islands.
- Inspect the crate before you sign. Photograph or film any visible damage on the spot.
2-year Freego warranty
- Freego is the manufacturer; MotorHabit is your dealer and every claim starts with us.
- Freego publishes a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty to the original retail purchaser.
- Cover by part: 24 months on the frame, stem and handlebar; 12 months on motor, controller, battery pack and wheels; 3 months on throttle, lights, sensors, display and charger; 30 days on wear parts.
- The motor is covered for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Battery cover applies to capacity loss beyond 20 percent under normal use, not to overcharging, deep discharge or leaving the pack flat for a month.
- Freego supplies genuine replacement parts free within cover, and guarantees parts availability for 2 years.
