A moped-style fat bike that fits a 4'11" rider

Class 2 at 20 mph, 600 Wh, full suspension and hydraulic discs, on the smallest 20 x 4 frame Freego makes.

The Shotgun Lite F0 is the moped-style fat-tire bike scaled for riders the category usually ignores. Freego's suggested fit is 4'11" to 5'11" - most 20 x 4 bikes start at 5'4" and leave anyone shorter tiptoeing at every stop.

A 500 W rear hub motor rated 1,000 W at peak, on a 48V 12.5Ah pack worth 600 watt-hours, for a published 18 to 30 miles. Top speed is 20 mph as a Class 2 bike, adjustable to 28. Full suspension front and rear on a high carbon steel frame, hydraulic disc brakes at both ends, 20 x 4 air-filled tires and a rear brake light. Curb weight is 104 lb, load rating 220 lb, and the 42V 2A charger refills it in three to five hours.

A 500 W rear hub motor rated 1,000 W at peak. Nominal output is what the law reads, and 500 W keeps the F0 comfortably inside the federal ceiling for a low-speed electric bicycle. Freego caps the throttle at 20 mph for Class 2 and lets pedal assist run to 28 if you adjust it.

This is the F0's whole argument. Fat-tire moped-style bikes are usually built for riders of 5'4" and up, which leaves a lot of people choosing between a bike that does not fit and no bike at all. Freego's fit window here starts at 4'11", on the same 20 x 4 tires and the same bench seat as the bigger Shotguns.

Freego's road-going range. The X1 SE, F2 Pro and F0 are Class 2 as Freego builds them. The F3 Pro Max carries two 750 W motors, which is why we do not repeat its Class 2 label as a legal claim, and Freego publishes no class at all for the City Flow A1.

  • Freego dispatches in-stock bikes within 1 to 3 business days, then quotes 3 to 8 business days in transit.

  • Lower 48 and DC only - Freego does not deliver to Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other islands.
  • Inspect the crate before you sign. Photograph or film any visible damage on the spot.

2-year Freego warranty

  • Freego is the manufacturer; MotorHabit is your dealer and every claim starts with us.
  • Freego publishes a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty to the original retail purchaser.
  • Cover by part: 24 months on the frame, stem and handlebar; 12 months on motor, controller, battery pack and wheels; 3 months on throttle, lights, sensors, display and charger; 30 days on wear parts.
  • The motor is covered for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first.
  • Battery cover applies to capacity loss beyond 20 percent under normal use, not to overcharging, deep discharge or leaving the pack flat for a month.
  • Freego supplies genuine replacement parts free within cover, and guarantees parts availability for 2 years.

Questions riders actually ask

No. Freego builds it as a Class 2 e-bike - 500 W nominal, pedals, throttle capped at 20 mph - which federal law treats as a bicycle. No license, registration or insurance. State and local rules vary on where Class 2 bikes may go, so check yours.
Freego's suggested window starts at 4'11", which is the lowest of any fat-tire bike they make and the reason this model exists. If you are at the very bottom of that range, expect to be on the balls of your feet at a stop rather than flat-footed.
Freego publishes 18 to 30 miles from the 48V 12.5Ah pack. That is a commute-and-errands battery rather than a day-out battery - if you want range, the Flash F3 Pro Max carries more than four times the energy.
Freego says it lifts the speed cap for use on private property and trails. Unlocking it takes the bike outside the Class 2 configuration it was sold in, so keep it locked on public roads and bike paths.
It ships free from Freego's warehouse in Chino, California. Freego dispatches in-stock bikes within 1 to 3 business days and quotes 3 to 8 business days in transit to the lower 48. Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other islands are not served - if that is you, talk to us before ordering and we can ship to a continental address you nominate. Inspect the crate before you sign for it, and photograph any damage on the spot.
Freego publishes a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty to the original retail purchaser, split by part. The frame, stem and handlebar are covered for 24 months. The motor, controller, battery pack and wheels are covered for 12 months - the motor specifically for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. Throttle, lights, pedal-assist sensor, display, switches and charger are covered for 3 months. Wear parts - grips, tires, tubes, fenders, fork, kickstand, brake pads, cables, rotors and gears - are covered for 30 days. The battery is covered against capacity loss beyond 20 percent under normal use. Freego supplies genuine parts free within cover and guarantees parts availability for two years; labor is not included. Start any claim with us at support@motorhabit.com.
It arrives part-assembled in a crate. Expect to fit the front wheel, handlebars, mirrors or fenders where fitted, charge the pack fully, and go over every fastener with a torque wrench before the first ride. Budget an hour and a set of hex keys.
