The Freego K1 is not street legal and is not a road vehicle. It is a 15.5 mph electric minibike for supervised off-road use on private property. A helmet is not optional on it, and 15.5 mph is quick enough to break a wrist. Check your local rules - some states restrict where under-16s may ride powered vehicles even on private land.
Actually built for a child, not just capped for one
250 W, 15.5 mph and 60 lb. The only Freego machine we stock that is genuinely child-sized. Off-road and supervised use.
The K1 is the small one - a genuine kids electric motorbike rather than a mini e-moto with a speed cap on it. A 250 W nominal, 350 W peak rear hub motor on a 25.2V 5.2Ah lithium battery, geared for 15.5 mph and a 15 percent climb, on a high carbon steel frame with 12.5-inch pneumatic tires.
It weighs 60 lb, carries 141 lb, and measures 42.7 x 22.8 x 27.6 inches - small enough to lift into a car boot and light enough that a parent can pick it up off a fallen rider. Braking is a rear disc. The 29.4V 1A charger takes five to eight hours.
Off-road and supervised use. This is the one Freego machine on this store that is actually built for a child - everything else in the range, including the bikes with "Mini" in the name, does 37 mph or more.

15.5 mph, geared not governed
A 250 W nominal, 350 W peak rear hub motor on a 25.2V 5.2Ah battery. The K1 does 15.5 mph because that is what the motor and gearing will do, not because a controller is holding back something larger. There is no mode to unlock and nothing for a curious ten-year-old to find in a menu.
What a full charge costs you
Light enough to lift, small enough to fit in a car
60 lb gross and 42.7 x 22.8 x 27.6 inches. An adult can lift it off a fallen rider with one hand under the frame, and it goes in a car boot without a ramp or a rack. Tires are 12.5-inch pneumatic rather than solid, so it rolls over grass and gravel instead of skating across them.

Freego's three small machines, and they are not interchangeable. The K1 is a genuine children's minibike at 15.5 mph. The X0 and the Nova 5 Mini both weigh 99 lb and do 37 to 40 mph - they fit smaller riders but they are not toys.

Shipping & delivery
- Ships free from Freego's US warehouse in Chino, California.
- Freego dispatches in-stock bikes within 1 to 3 business days, then quotes 3 to 8 business days in transit.
- You get tracking as soon as the carrier scans it.
- Lower 48 and DC only - Freego does not deliver to Hawaii, Puerto Rico or other islands.
- Inspect the crate before you sign. Photograph or film any visible damage on the spot.
2-year Freego warranty
- Freego is the manufacturer; MotorHabit is your dealer and every claim starts with us.
- Freego publishes a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty to the original retail purchaser.
- Cover by part: 24 months on the frame, stem and handlebar; 12 months on motor, controller, battery pack and wheels; 3 months on throttle, lights, sensors, display and charger; 30 days on wear parts.
- The motor is covered for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Battery cover applies to capacity loss beyond 20 percent under normal use, not to overcharging, deep discharge or leaving the pack flat for a month.
- Freego supplies genuine replacement parts free within cover, and guarantees parts availability for 2 years.
