Off-road only

Coswheel states the R19 is designed for off-road and private property use by default. It carries no US e-bike class rating — at 9,000 W peak and 60 mph it is far outside every class, whatever the marketing on the spec sheet says. Ride it on private property, OHV parks and trails that allow off-road vehicles, and check your state's rules before riding anywhere public.

Overview

2,880 watt-hours and 240 N·m, on 19-inch knobbies

Coswheel's flagship: a 9,000 W peak hub motor and the largest pack we sell, on a 220 mm dual-crown fork and a hydroformed aluminum frame. Off-road and private property only.

The R19 is Coswheel's flagship e-moto. A 9,000 W peak rear hub motor and 240 N·m, fed by a 72V 40Ah pack — 2,880 watt-hours, the largest battery on this store — inside a hydroformed triple-butted 6061-T6 aluminum frame. 220 mm of adjustable travel up front, 300 mm at the rear, 19-inch off-road tires and double-piston hydraulic discs on 203 mm rotors.

Coswheel states the R19 is designed for off-road and private property use by default.

Nine Kilowatts, Peak

A 9,000 W hub motor and 240 N·m

Coswheel rates the R19's rear hub motor at 9,000 W peak and 240 N·m, fed by a 72V 90A controller. That is the highest peak figure of any bike on this store outside the 79BIKE Falcon range, and it is a hub motor rather than a mid-drive — the mass sits in the rear wheel, which suits fast, open ground more than slow technical climbing.

A 4.58-inch color display, unlocked by NFC

The R19 carries a 4.58-inch full-color horizontal screen and starts from an NFC card rather than a key. There is also a speed limiter that caps the bike at 25 km/h (about 15 mph) when you want to hand it to someone who has never ridden one.

The Biggest Pack We Stock

72V 40Ah — 2,880 watt-hours

2,880 Wh is roughly double what a Heybike Villain or a Yozma IN 10 Pro carries. Coswheel rates it at 75-plus miles on throttle alone and up to 124 miles if you pedal, and the 84V 6A charger refills it in 6 to 7 hours. The pack runs a 100A BMS.

Adjustable At Both Ends

220 mm front, 300 mm rear

A dual-crown fork with 220 mm of travel and adjustable damping, and 300 mm at the rear, also adjustable. Both ends can be dialed for rider weight, which matters on a bike rated to carry 440 lb. The frame under it is hydroformed triple-butted 6061-T6 aluminum.

Stops To Match The Power

Double-piston hydraulics on 203 mm rotors

Double-piston hydraulic calipers front and rear on 203 mm discs. On a 139 lb bike that will do 60 mph, this is the part of the spec sheet worth reading twice — it is where cheaper machines cut the corner.

Rider Fit

Will it fit you? Here are the numbers.

The question we get asked most. Seat height and rider range decide this more than anything on the spec sheet.

Recommended rider height

Coswheel recommends 5'3" to 6'5" (160 to 200 cm) on a 33.5 in seat height. Shorter than 5'3" and you will struggle to flat-foot it — look at the Macfox M16, which fits from 3'11". Not sure? Email your height and inseam to support@motorhabit.com.

Competitor specs come from each manufacturer's own listing. The two Coswheels are the same idea at two sizes — the R19 buys you 60 percent more battery, 19-inch wheels and an aluminum frame; the R6000 is 18 lb lighter with a pack that comes out to charge. None of these four is street legal.

What riders say

Q&A

Questions riders actually ask

No. Coswheel states the R19 is designed for off-road and private property use by default, and at 9,000 W peak and 60 mph it sits well outside every US e-bike class. Ride it on private property, OHV parks and trails that allow off-road vehicles. Registration rules for machines like this vary by state — check yours before you ride anywhere public.
Coswheel rates it at 60 mph (96 km/h). It also has a speed-limiting mode that caps it at 25 km/h, about 15 mph, which is what to use the first time you hand it to someone new.
Coswheel publishes 75+ miles on throttle alone and up to 124 miles using pedal assist, from the 72V 40Ah (2,880 Wh) pack. Both are best-case figures — rider weight, terrain and how much throttle you use move them a long way. Plan around the throttle number, not the pedal-assist one.
Us. MotorHabit is a direct Coswheel dealer and every warranty or damage claim starts with support@motorhabit.com. Coswheel publishes a 1-year warranty on the bike; we open and track the claim for you. Labor is never covered.
It ships as freight from Coswheel's US warehouse. Coswheel dispatches within 1 business day and quotes 3 to 8 business days in transit. Shipping is free. Inspect the crate before you sign for it and photograph any damage on the spot.
It arrives partially assembled in a crate. The box holds the bike, two fenders, the 84V 6A charger and a tool bag. Expect to fit the front wheel, handlebars and fenders and to check every fastener before the first ride.
