Who is Y-VOLT?
A manufacturer of high-performance electric dirt bikes that designs and builds its own motor and controller rather than assembling bought-in parts. They currently make one model, the Surge V, and ship it from a warehouse in Rialto, California.
Is the Surge V street legal?
No. It has no pedals and carries no US e-bike class, and Y-VOLT do not sell it as a street-legal motorcycle. At 35 kW and 68 mph it is an off-road machine — private property, OHV parks and trails that allow off-road vehicles. Check your state's rules before riding anywhere public.
Do you stock Y-VOLT parts and accessories?
Not yet. Y-VOLT make a supermoto wheel set, a 21 inch front wheel and a color-matched helmet, and we can order service parts through our dealer account — email support@motorhabit.com and we will quote you. Universal gear that fits any e-moto is on the site already.
Who handles warranty and support if something goes wrong?
We do. MotorHabit is the seller of record and every claim starts with support@motorhabit.com; Y-VOLT supply parts behind us. That is the arrangement we have with them in writing.

Y-VOLT build one machine and build every major part of it themselves — the high-speed permanent-magnet motor, the sine-wave vector controller, and the 97.2 volt architecture the two of them run on. The Surge V is the result: 35 kW, 948 N·m at the rear wheel, 68 mph, and the only pack on this store above 72 volts.
