Every GUTS seat is built from a spec sheet you fill in, not a part number you pick. The choices that cost nothing — all sixteen colors, rib delete, logo placement, cover height, foam firmness — are yours to combine freely. Only two choices carry a price: the ballistic nylon knee panel at $16.99, and the Ultra Bee RJ Wing seat's own color and knee-bump options. Build it on the product page, watch the preview update, and check it once before you order, because it is final sale.
- 16 colors on most designs, 17 on the non-ribbed cover — and color choices are free.
- The ribbed cover has three color zones (side, center, rib) and ribs can be deleted for a two-color seat.
- Cover height is a separate option: stock, or tall to fit the Luna Float seat.
- Foam firmness (Soft, Medium, Hard) exists only on complete seats and foam — not on covers.
- Your spec travels to GUTS as written text on the order, which is exactly what they build from.
A GUTS seat page looks like a lot of options because it is. GUTS cuts and sews to order in California, so the palette is not a stocking decision — it is a spec sheet. Below is what every field on the page changes, in the order you meet them.
Step 1: pick the design, because it decides the color zones
The design is the shape and panel layout of the cover, and it determines how many colors you get to choose. This is the single decision that changes everything downstream.

Those combination counts are not marketing arithmetic — they are why we render a live preview of your build on the product page instead of photographing options. Photographing every ribbed cover variant for one bike would be 32,768 pictures.
Step 2: the palette
Sixteen colors run across the RF1 and ribbed designs. The non-ribbed cover adds a seventeenth by splitting Husqvarna Heritage Blue out from RMZ Blue 35.

- Bright, neon and fluorescent colors fade over time. Put them on small zones if the bike lives outdoors.
- KTM/Husqvarna Blue 07 is a dark blue — not the bright factory blue most people picture when they read the name.
- Husqvarna Heritage Blue matches the OEM seat cover, not the plastics. If you are matching bodywork, it is the wrong blue.
Step 3: grip material
Two options, and it is a riding decision rather than a looks decision. Less Aggressive is GUTS' e-bike, comfort and adventure material and is what they recommend for e-bikes. Original GUTS Grip is the factory race team deep diamond, very rough, and is the dirt answer. One constraint to know: not every color is offered in the Original GUTS Grip material. GUTS does not publish which pairs are affected, so if you have your heart set on an unusual color in the aggressive material, ask us and we will confirm it with GUTS rather than guess. Step 4: ribs, or no ribs
On the interactive rib design you can order ribs deleted, which turns a three-color seat into a clean two-color seat — side and center only — in the same pattern and material. Riders do this for looks. It is worth understanding the cost: the ribs are the physical stop that keeps you from sliding rearward under throttle, so deleting them on a torquey e-moto bike gives up the reason most people buy that design in the first place.
Step 5: cover height
Two values: stock height, or tall, which fits the Luna Float seat. Tall is not a comfort upgrade you add on a whim — it is a cover cut for a taller foam profile, and ordering it over stock foam gives you a loose cover. Match the height to the foam that is actually on the bike.
Step 6: logo placement
Either GUTS oval top rear plus GUTS side logos, or top rear only, no side logos. Pick the second if you run graphics kits down the seat sides, or if you want the seat to read as one clean block of color from three feet away. It costs nothing either way.
Step 7: foam firmness — only on complete seats and foam
Soft, Medium or Hard. This option does not appear on cover-only orders, because a cover does not come with foam. Pick by rider weight and landing habits rather than by how a chair feels: soft foam bottoms out against the pan on the first flat landing under a heavier rider, and hard foam is punishing for a light rider on a long trail day. Medium is the default for a reason.

What happens to your spec after you order?
Every choice you make is written onto the order as text and travels through to GUTS — it is literally what they build from. You can see it yourself: your build shows in the cart line, on the order confirmation, and on the packing paperwork. Nothing is inferred from a variant code, which is why an unusual combination is no harder for them to make than a common one.
Covers ship in 10–14 business days, complete seats, foam and kits in 15–20. Because each one is cut to your spec, they are final sale under our return policy. Confirm your bike and model year against the pattern list before you order.
