About this part
A disk guard for the Surron Ultra Bee, CNC cut from 7075-T6 aluminum. The rear rotor is a thin steel disc hanging low on the bike with nothing in front of it, so on trail or track it is the part that finds rocks, roots and ruts first.
7075-T6 is chosen for its strength and its resistance to fatigue, which matters on a guard that takes repeated small hits rather than one large one. It suits competitive and recreational riding alike. Check the guard clears the rotor all the way around once it is bolted up, spin the wheel before riding, and inspect it after any hard impact since a bent guard can foul the disc.
