About this part
A titanium footpeg pivot pin in a burnt blue finish, replacing the steel pin and the cotter pin arrangement it comes with. The locking nut is the real change: cotter pins are the fiddly part of any peg swap, and they rarely go back in as cleanly as they came out.
The head is T40 Torx, which gives something to hold the pin with while the nut is tightened rather than fighting it with pliers. Titanium is around 45 percent lighter than steel and will not rust like a steel pin, which is what makes an old pin seize in the peg bore. Clean the bore before fitting, and check the peg swings freely before riding.
