Warp 9 Tow Rope

A tow rope small enough to live in a pack and strong enough to drag a dead e-moto out. It is 3.5mm 12-strand Spectra, also called UHMWPE, at 20 feet long with a 2,200 lb break strength, so it packs down to almost nothing.

Both ends are double looped, and each loop is sheathed in Kevlar at the point where abrasion actually happens: over an axle, a peg or a bar. That is the part of a tow rope that fails first, and it is why a bare Spectra loop does not last. Tow gently and keep tension steady rather than snatching, since a rope this thin will cut into anything it saws across.
