A stem lock for forks whose lower clamps already provide a fender mount. Because the fender mounting is handled by the fork, this version is smaller and simpler at the bottom than the fender-mount stem lock, and it leaves more clearance around the fender itself.

Head bearings that keep coming loose are usually a symptom of the original star nut walking up the steering tube. This kit replaces that with a threaded rod running the full length of the steering tube, clamping the lower triple clamp to the upper one so the bearing preload holds. Four black steering tube spacers are included, in 20mm, 15mm, 5mm and 3mm. Use a 3/8 drive on the bottom nut and a Torx on the top bolt.
