Grade 5 6AL-4V titanium bolt kit for the ext ferro fork, in place of the steel bolt kit the bike leaves the factory with. It is about 40% lighter than the OEM equivalent and PVD-coated against corrosion, with rolled threads for fatigue strength. Choose from 9 finishes: Burnt Blue, Black, Gold, Green, Purple, Rainbow, Silver (raw), Teal and Blue.

This part is not cut for one platform, so it carries no fitment badge. Check the title and the photos against your own bike before ordering. Titanium is a weight and corrosion upgrade, not a reason to pull a fastener tighter: torque to the figure for the bolt you are replacing. Is titanium actually better than the stock hardware?

Titanium is worth it for two things: weight and corrosion. This is Grade 5 6AL-4V, the aerospace alloy, not commercially pure titanium. It saves about 40% over the steel it replaces. What it is not is a strength upgrade at every size — a titanium bolt has a different yield than the steel one it replaces, so use the original torque spec.

What colors does it come in?

It comes in Burnt Blue, Black, Gold, Green, Purple, Rainbow, Silver (raw), Teal and Blue. The finish is PVD or anodized into the surface, not paint, so it does not chip off the way a coating does.
