The Macfox battery waterproof shield covers a battery pack that has been relocated under the seat, a common Macfox modification, and keeps water out of the mount at that location. It fits the X1S and X7/X7L, the two models where this relocation is most often done.

Water intrusion from an improperly sealed relocated pack raises the risk of pack damage, electrical failure, and fire, so this shield is meant to be run any time a battery sits under the seat. It is built specifically for under-seat relocations and is not intended for any other battery mounting position.
