About this part
This is a steel rear brake rotor from JFG Racing for the Surron Light Bee X and the Segway X260 and X160. It is a direct replacement for a worn, warped or damaged stock rear disc, and it also works as a straight upgrade if you want a fresh rotor with a slotted profile.
The outer ring has a wavy, slotted shape. The slots help scrape pad material and grit off the friction surface and give the rotor more edge area to dissipate heat, which keeps pad wear down. Installation is a swap: remove the old rear disc and bolt this one to the hub in its place. Bed the new rotor in with a few gentle stops before riding hard, and check that your pads are not already worn to the backing plate.
