Controls questions, answered

Will a throttle from another bike work?
Usually not, even when it plugs in. The connector housing, the pin order and the signal voltage range all have to match your controller. A mismatch gives you a dead throttle at best and an uncommanded one at worst. Filter to your platform.
Can I fit a bigger display?
Only one built for your controller's protocol and your system voltage. A display is not a universal screen — it is one half of a conversation with the controller, and the other half has to speak the same language.
Are levers universal?
Closer to it than electronics. Levers are mostly a question of bar diameter and whether the brake is hydraulic or mechanical — a hydraulic lever is part of the brake system and has to match the master cylinder, so it is not interchangeable with a cable lever.
How do I know a part fits my bike?
Every part carries a fitment code and we check it against a compatibility database before listing it. Filter any collection to your bike, or email a photo of your frame plate to hello@motorhabit.com and we will answer within 24 hours.
What if it does not fit?
Send it back. 14 days to start a return on any part, no restocking fee, uninstalled and in its original packaging with the hardware bag unopened. If our fitment data was wrong, we cover the return shipping too — that one is on us, not you.

About Controls

Controls are the parts you feel on every ride and the ones most people never change. A stock Light Bee X puts a taller rider in a crouch; a 7075 tapered bar with +40 mm machined risers for the stock 28.6 mm clamp fixes that in an afternoon. Soft-compound half-waffle grips are the cheapest upgrade in the store and the first one worth doing on any stock bike.
