Start from the machine, not the part. Every one of the 2,348 MotoTec parts we carry is tagged to the models it was checked against, so the fastest route is: open your model's parts collection, then narrow by system. If you only know the system, start from the category and use the fitment filter. Two traps to avoid — V1/V2/V3 versions of the same part, and machines whose name and engine size do not match.
- 2,348 MotoTec parts, all carrying verified fitment against specific models.
- The fastest path is model first, system second — not the other way round.
- Many parts fit several models; the ignition coil covers all five X-series bikes.
- Watch for V1 / V2 / V3 suffixes on batteries and harnesses — they are not interchangeable.
- If two candidate parts look identical, send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
A parts catalog this deep is only useful if you can get to the four parts that fit your machine instead of the four hundred that do not. Here is the route we use on the phone.
Step 1: identify exactly which machine you have
MotoTec names machines by voltage and wattage or by displacement, and the name on the box is the name to search. Look for it in three places, in this order:
- The original listing or invoice — this is the reliable one, because it carries the exact model name and the SKU.
- The frame or battery-box sticker — usually carries the model and a voltage.
- The charger — its output voltage tells you the pack voltage, which narrows the field fast.
MotoTec sells both a gas and an electric GT pocket bike, and they share almost nothing. They also sell a Demon in both a 40cc gas and a 36V 790W electric form. If you search on the name alone you will find both. Match the power type first, then the model.
Step 2: open your model's parts collection
Each machine with a meaningful parts catalog has its own collection. Find yours here:

Not listed? Everything MotoTec is in the full MotoTec catalog, and our fitment database covers the rest of the store the same way.
Step 3: narrow by system
Once you are in the right model, the system is what gets you to the part. These are the nine categories every MotoTec part falls into:
| System | Parts | What is in it |
|---|---|---|
| Bodywork | 604 | Plastics, fenders, seats, panels, decals, frame parts |
| Controls & electronics | 412 | Throttles, switches, controllers, harnesses, coils, meters |
| Wheels & tires | 356 | Tires, tubes, rims, hubs, axles, bearings |
| Drivetrain | 297 | Chains, sprockets, clutches, belts, engine internals |
| Brakes | 233 | Pads, rotors, calipers, levers, cables, master cylinders |
| Suspension | 149 | Forks, shocks, swingarms, springs, linkages |
| Battery & charging | 146 | Packs, chargers, charging ports, meters, wiring |
| Comfort & fit | 81 | Seats, grips, footpegs, mirrors |
| Lighting | 70 | Headlights, tail lights, indicators, wiring |
You can also come at it the other way. Every category page can be filtered to one machine — so a URL like /collections/brakes/fits-x3125 gives you brake parts for the X3 125cc and nothing else. That is the fastest route when you know what broke but not what it is called.
Step 4: check the version
This is where orders go wrong. MotoTec revised several components mid-production and both versions are still supported, so you will see parts named V1, V2 and V3 — most commonly on lithium battery packs, wiring harnesses and battery meters. The 48V Pro 1800W, for instance, has three different lithium packs listed against it. They are not interchangeable.
The reliable way to resolve it is to photograph the old part in place, including the connector, before you order. If two candidates still look identical, send us the model and the photo — we answer fitment within 24 hours and it is cheaper than a return.
What "verified fitment" means here
Every MotoTec part on this store carries a verified-fitment tag and a list of the models it was checked against, which is what drives the fitment badge on the product card and the "fits your bike" line on the product page. Many parts fit several machines — the ignition coil is listed for all five X-series bikes, and a 2.50-10 tire covers six different models — and the tags say exactly which. If your machine is not in the list, the part has not been checked against it, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a maybe.
The parts worth buying before you need them
- A spare charger — the single most common failure on any electric machine, and the one that stops the bike completely.
- Chain and sprockets on anything chain-driven, especially go-karts.
- Brake pads, which are cheap, wear predictably, and are not worth waiting a week for.
- A tube and a tire for whatever size the machine runs.
- Charging port and battery wire kit on kids' machines, which get plugged in by children.
