Warp 9 Talaria MX5 Front Sprocket

The front sprocket for the Talaria Sting MX5, machined from hardened tool steel and black oxide coated so it outlasts the sprocket it replaces. A larger flange reduces movement on the driveshaft compared with a thinner sprocket, and a new jackshaft seal is included and already installed in the sprocket.

Thirteen tooth is the stock size. Fourteen tooth adds top speed and extends range by dropping motor rpm at a given road speed, at the cost of some low-end torque. One tooth at the front changes overall gearing more than one tooth at the rear, so it is a bigger step than it looks. Check the chain has adjustment left before changing size.
