It packs into its own built-in pouch, small enough to carry in a hydration pack or a glove box, or strapped around your waist with the built-in belt. MSR does not publish a packed dimension.
Will this jacket keep rain out on a long ride?
It uses a water resistant polyester shell with taped seams, which handles a cool breeze or passing showers. Water resistant is not the same as waterproof, so it is not meant for a sustained downpour.
How does the Packable Jacket adjust over riding gear?
