What makes the NXT Air pant different from other race pants?

Yes to both. There is a concealed zippered phone pocket on the right thigh and a custom ratchet-style belt closure at the waist. A comfortable three-quarter length inner mesh liner runs inside the leg.

Will the inner knee hold up against boot and frame wear?

MSR uses wear-resistant leather inner knee panels on the NXT Air, the area that takes the most heat and abrasion from boots and hard contact. The rest of the leg stays mesh for airflow.
