A 38 lb Folding Commuter With 12-Inch Tires
The 500W hub motor tops out at 15 mph, and the 36V 12Ah lithium pack covers 10 to 15 miles per 4 to 6 hour charge.
The MotoTec Metro is a folding commuter electric scooter with a 500W brushless rear hub motor and a 36V 12Ah lithium-ion battery. It carries an LCD display for speedometer, battery level, and distance, an LED headlight and taillight, and a carrying rack, with foldable handlebars for storage.
Top speed is 15 mph with a 10 to 15 mile range depending on rider weight, and the included charger refills the pack in 4 to 6 hours. The 12-inch pneumatic tires soak up rough pavement better than small solid wheels, and disc brakes work at both ends. Max load is 200 lbs and the scooter weighs 38 lbs, one of the lightest machines in the MotoTec line and easy to carry up a transit stairway. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
