Two speeds, plus 20 mph with the plug pulled
The brushless 1000W kart runs 10 or 15 mph stock, adds reverse, and rides turf-safe tires inside a full roll bar with netting.
The MotoTec Maverick is a kids electric go kart with a brushless 36V 1000W peak motor, key start, forward and reverse, and three speed choices: 10 mph, 15 mph, and 20 mph once the optional restrictor plug is disconnected. A seat belt, full roll bar, netting, and a full chain guard surround the driver.
Three 12V 12Ah lead acid batteries run 5 to 12 miles per charge and up to 40 minutes of ride time, with a 4 to 5 hour recharge. The high-tensile steel tube frame rolls on 14x4.00-6 wheels with turf-safe tires that go easy on grass, stopped by a foot-operated cable rear disc with a parking brake. Max driver weight is 154 lbs, with 80cm from seat back to pedals. Leave the restrictor plug in until the driver is ready for 20 mph. Warranty is 60 days parts replacement.
