The MotoTec Mars 48v is a folding seated electric scooter for riders 13 and up, with an aluminum deck, dual headlights, and a speedometer/odometer. A 2500W 48V hub motor and a 48V 20Ah lithium battery push it to 30 mph, weight dependent.
Range runs 20 to 28 miles in optimum conditions with a 4 to 6 hour charge, quicker than most packs this size. Dual shocks front and rear pair with 130/50-8 fat tires and front and rear disc brakes. Max rider weight is 150 kg on the high-tensile steel frame, and the folded scooter weighs 50 kg, so budget two people for lifting it into a truck bed. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
