The 80s Push Scooter, Now With a 350W Hub Motor
Big 14-inch front and 12.5-inch rear air tires, three speeds up to 21 mph, and 12 to 18 miles from the 36V 10Ah lithium pack.
The MotoTec Groove is a big-wheel electric scooter styled after the push scooters of the 80s, now with a 350W brushless rear hub motor and a 36V 10Ah lithium-ion battery. It suits riders 13 and up, with a key switch, battery meter, and variable twist throttle on a high-tensile steel frame.
Three selectable speeds run 8, 14, and 21 mph, with a 12 to 18 mile range and a 4 to 6 hour charge. Large air-filled tires (14x2.125 front, 12.5x2.25 rear) roll over cracks that stop small-wheel scooters, a wood foot deck gives standing room, and a rear disc brake handles stopping. Max rider weight is 220 lbs, climbing angle is rated at 15 degrees, and the scooter weighs 40 lbs. Comes in black, blue, or red with a 30-day parts warranty.
