Twin 500W rear hubs on a fold-flat aluminum frame
1000 watts of combined hub power moves up to 300 lb at 5.5, 10, or 17 mph, and the trike folds from 44 to 20 inches long to fit a trunk.
The MotoTec Folding Electric Trike 48V 1000W is a dual-motor mobility scooter with two 500-watt brushless hubs built into the rear wheels for torque on inclines. The aluminum frame folds from 44 to 20 inches long, the handlebar adjusts up and down, and the padded seat carries armrests and a backrest for riders up to 300 lb.
Three forward speeds of 5.5, 10, and 17 mph pair with a 2 mph reverse and a slow store mode for indoor aisles. The 48V 15.6Ah lithium pack runs 15-25 miles per charge and recharges in 5-8 hours on the included charger. Dual rear disc brakes include a parking brake, lighting covers front, rear, and cornering lamps, and 11-inch pneumatic tires smooth out pavement cracks. Front and rear baskets are standard, and the turning radius is 2.5 meters. Warranty is 60 days parts replacement.
