Three speed modes of 9, 18, and 27 mph, a removable 48V battery pack, and a 15-degree climbing ability set the 800W apart from the smaller trikes.
The MotoTec Electric Trike 48V 800W is a three-wheel scooter ridden sitting or standing by riders 13 and up to 240 lb. An 800-watt brushless hub motor in the front wheel pairs with a removable seat and a removable battery pack, so the pack can charge indoors while the trike stays parked.
Three selectable speeds run 9, 18, and 27 mph, with 15-20 miles per charge from the four-battery 48V pack and a 15-degree climbing ability. Braking is dual rear discs on a left-hand lever with a parking-brake lock. It rides on a 16-inch front tire and 12-inch rears, folds to 32 inches tall, and carries a key switch, battery meter, LED headlight, and basket. At 95 lb with 3 inches of ground clearance, it stays manageable to load. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
