The 48V 10Ah lithium-ion battery trims weight over lead-acid versions while the 750W front hub motor covers 15-25 miles per charge.
The MotoTec Electric Trike 48V 750W Lithium swaps lead-acid weight for a 48V 10Ah lithium-ion pack, bringing the whole trike down to 83 lb. It is a sit-or-stand three-wheeler for riders 13 and up to 240 lb, with a removable wide saddle, twist throttle, and a 750-watt brushless hub motor in the front wheel.
Top speed is 24 mph with a 15-25 mile range depending on rider weight, and the pack is rated for over 300 cycles with a 4-8 hour recharge on the included 48V charger. A front drum brake handles stopping, the seat adjusts from 24 to 28.5 inches, and it rolls on a 16-inch front tire with 9-inch rears. The frame folds to a 31-inch height for transport, and a key switch, battery meter light, and LED headlight are standard. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
