A 1200W servo motor through a gearbox, no chains or belts
The differential gearbox sends 48V 24Ah of battery power to the rear wheels for 15 mph and 20-plus miles per charge, with hydraulic brakes at both ends.
The MotoTec Electric Trike 48V 1200W is a sit-down three-wheel electric scooter for riders 13 and up, with a wide saddle and a 400 lb maximum weight capacity that suits event, security, and warehouse-floor duty as well as neighborhood use. A 1200-watt servo motor drives through a differential gearbox, so there are no chains or belts to tension or replace.
Eight 12V 12Ah batteries form the 48V 24Ah pack, good for 20-plus miles per charge and rated past 300 charges, with a 4-8 hour recharge. Rated speed is 15 mph, weight dependent. Hydraulic brakes front and rear, a 24-inch front tire, twin 12-inch rear tires, reverse, a battery meter, and a carrying rack are standard. At 216 lb, plan on two people to unload it. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
