The 48V 1000W hub motor and 13Ah lithium pack run 10 to 20 miles per charge, selectable between 15 and 25 mph modes.
The MotoTec Diablo is a seated fat-tire electric scooter for riders 13 and up, built on a high-tensile steel frame with an ABS resin foot deck. A 48V 1000W rear hub motor drives it, fed by a 48V 13Ah lithium-ion battery with key start and a battery meter on board.
Top speed is 25 mph, selectable between 15 mph and 25 mph modes, with an economy mode button to stretch the 10 to 20 mile range. It rides on 14x6.00-10 street tires with dual front shocks, front and rear disc brakes, and LED lights at both ends. Seat height is 30 inches, max rider weight is 265 lbs, and charging takes 6 to 8 hours. Warranty is 60 days parts replacement; the 84 lb curb weight is worth noting before hauling it up stairs.
