The MotoTec Cruiser is a commuter-oriented folding electric scooter with a 350W brushless rear hub motor and a 48V 8Ah lithium ion battery rated for 800 charge cycles. Three selectable speeds run 6, 11, and 16 mph, and 14-inch pneumatic tires smooth out rough pavement.
Range is 10 to 15 miles per charge depending on rider weight, with a 4 to 8 hour recharge and a 15-degree max slope rating. Front and rear suspension, disc brakes at both wheels, an LED headlight, key start, a battery meter, and a rear luggage rack cover the commute basics. Max load is 220 lbs, and the folded package measures 51x25x25 inches for hauling in a trunk. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
