The 48V 1600W motor covers 10 to 20 miles per charge, with LED lights, an LCD display, and a 265 lb max rider weight.
The MotoTec Ares is a folding 48V 1600W electric scooter with a removable seat, a 30 mph top speed, and an economy mode button for longer range. LED lighting front and rear, an LCD display, and a high-tensile steel frame serve riders 13 and up, to 265 lbs.
Four 12V 12Ah lead acid batteries deliver 10 to 20 miles per charge in optimum conditions and recharge in 4 to 6 hours. Suspension is a single front shock with dual rear shocks, brakes are disc front and rear, and the 90x65-6.5 tires carry a 30-inch seat height. The fold and removable seat make it easier to fit in a vehicle, though at 113 lbs loading is a two-person job. Warranty is 60 days parts replacement.
