Front and rear disc brakes, a 170 lb rider limit, and three 12V batteries back the 500W motor, for riders 13 and up.
The MotoTec GT is a 36V 500W electric pocket bike for riders 13 and up, built for driveway and parking lot laps with a 20 mph top speed and an 18-inch seat height. Disc brakes front and rear and 11-inch pneumatic street tires give it real stopping power and grip for its size.
Three 12V batteries form the 36V pack, recharging in 4 to 6 hours with the included charger. The rigid steel frame carries riders to 170 lbs, the twist-grip throttle is variable, and a battery meter plus key start round out the controls. Handlebars adjust for angle but not height, so check fit for taller riders before gifting one. Assembly is required, and warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
