A 10 mph first bike with a 17-inch seat
The 24V 250W motor, chain drive, and rear disc brake carry riders 6 and up, to 150 lbs, with ASTM F963-17 certification.
The MotoTec 24V 250W is a kids electric mini bike in classic mini-moto style, recommended for ages 6 and up with a 150 lb rider limit and a low 17-inch seat height. A permanent magnet motor and chain drive push it to 10 mph through a half twist throttle.
Two 12V 9Ah sealed lead acid batteries make up the 24V pack, charging in about 6 hours from empty. The steel frame is rigid with no suspension, rolling 90/65-6.5 wheels with a rear disc brake and a 1:7.5 gear ratio. It is ASTM F963-17 certified and weighs 51 lbs, small enough at 38x23x26 inches to stow in a garage corner. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
