30 mph from a brushless 2000W chain drive
Economy mode stretches the 48V lead acid pack to as much as 20 miles, with 11-inch knobby tires for pavement or dirt.
The MotoTec 2000W is a chain-drive electric scooter built around a brushless 48V motor, with a 30 mph top speed and an economy mode that stretches the battery for longer rides. The quick-release seat comes off for stand-up riding, and the frame folds with a Posi Lock for transport.
Four 12V 12Ah sealed lead acid batteries rated for 300 cycles give 10 to 20 miles per charge depending on weight, terrain, and mode, with a 6 to 8 hour recharge. Eleven-inch pneumatic knobby tires run on and off road, stopped by front and rear disc brakes, with a single front shock and dual rear shocks under an aluminum deck. Max load is 265 lbs, and a horn is standard. Warranty is 30 days parts replacement.
