About this part
A twist throttle assembly for the Segway X260 and Segway X160, supplied with its throttle cable. It replaces the stock throttle when the grip is worn, the return has gone lazy, or the signal has become inconsistent. The cable is factory tuned for signal transmission, so response off idle is immediate.
The throttle body is nylon rather than aluminum. The maker's reasoning is that nylon does not crack or corrode over time the way an alloy housing can, and it is free of heavy metals. The throttle and cable are installed as a set. If you are keeping your stock grips, check the grip length against the new throttle tube before you cut anything. Confirm your bike matches the listed models before ordering.
