About this part
Upgraded bottom bracket for the Surron Light Bee X and the Segway X160 and X260. It replaces the stock bottom bracket at the base of the frame with a machined part that resists flex and deformation, which tightens up the feel of the chassis on hard landings and under heavy pedaling or footpeg loads.
Machined from 7075 aluminum on a CNC mill and anodized for a finish that holds its color and shrugs off corrosion. The 7075 alloy is chosen for strength and wear resistance, and the structure is shaped to resist bending while staying light. Fitment is specific to the Light Bee X, X160, and X260 frames, so it is not a universal part. When swapping it in, clean the frame mating surfaces and check the bolt torque again after the first ride, since a fresh anodized part can settle slightly.
