About this part
These shock absorber covers fit the Segway X160 and Segway X260. They sit over the front fork shoes and guard them from rocks and debris, protecting the lower fork legs and seals. They add protection the stock fork does not have.
The covers are aircraft-grade dry carbon fiber, which gives them a light, stiff shell and a clean finish. The package is one pair as shown in the photos. They fit over the fork legs without modification. Once fitted, cycle the fork through its travel to confirm nothing rubs, and pull them off occasionally to wipe grit from the fork seals.
