About this part
A keyed helmet lock that bolts to the front steering column of the Surron Light Bee X, Segway X260 and Segway X160. It gives you a fixed point to lock a helmet to the bike when you park, instead of carrying it or hanging it on the bars. The maker notes it may suit other motorcycles if the column size matches, but it is verified here for the bikes listed.
The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, which resists weather and stands up to prying better than a cast or plastic lock. It fixes to the steering column with two screws. Two keys come in the box, one main and one spare. The lock stays on the bike; unlock it with the key when you ride and lock it when you leave. Keep the spare key somewhere other than with the bike.
