Frame Slider for Sur-Ron

Frame sliders for the Surron Light Bee X, Segway X260, and Segway X160. They stick out from the frame so that, when the bike tips or slides, the slider takes the hit instead of the bodywork and the components behind it. They are aimed at riders who drop the bike regularly on trails or in the parking lot.

Each slider is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. The material is strong yet ductile, so it deforms under a heavy impact rather than snapping off. Sliders disperse the force across the mounting point instead of concentrating it. Torque the mounting bolts to spec and recheck them after the first crash, since a bent slider should be replaced rather than straightened.
