About this part
The rear hydraulic disc brake caliper for the Heybike Villain V1. It mounts to the stock caliper bracket in place of the original, so replacing a seized or leaking caliper does not mean changing brackets.
The rear caliper sits low and takes the worst of the mud and standing water, which is why it usually seizes before the front one does. Signs it is due: a dragging rear brake, a piston that will not retract, or fluid weeping at the piston. Type is hydraulic disc caliper, rear position, Villain V1 fitment. Plan to bleed the rear brake after fitting, since opening the hose lets air in.
