About this part
The gold-finish version of the Heybike Villain (V1) drive chain. Functionally it is the same part as the standard chain, bought for how it looks against a dark frame, and it pairs with the gold front shock tube set for a matched look. It replaces a stretched or rusty chain and fits the stock sprockets without any other change.
Finish is gold and the length is stock, so no cutting is required. Fitment is the Heybike Villain V1. Fit it, then set the slack to match what the bike calls for, since the fresh chain will have none of the stretch you had been compensating for. A new chain on a hooked sprocket wears fast, so check the sprocket teeth before fitting, and lube the chain before the first ride rather than running it dry out of the box.
