About this part
The handlebar display for the Heybike Villain (V1). It shows speed, ride mode and battery state of charge, and it replaces a display that has fogged, lost segments, or stopped responding to its buttons. The button seal is what usually fails first on a bike that lives outdoors, so a fogged or dead display is common and cheap to fix.
The display mounts with a handlebar clamp in the stock position and fits the Heybike Villain V1. Fitting is a matter of unplugging the old unit, swapping the clamp over, and connecting the new display to the existing lead. Before you condemn a display, check the connector at the back for corrosion, since a green plug can mimic a dead screen. Once fitted, confirm ride mode and battery readings match what the bike is doing.
