About this part
The motor controller for the Heybike Villain (V1). This is the part that translates throttle position into current, so a failing one shows up as cutouts and flat spots long before it dies completely. It replaces the original controller when the bike cuts out under load, hesitates off the line, or stops responding to the throttle entirely.
The controller uses the stock harness plugs and mounts in the stock controller tray, so it is a plug-for-plug swap with no splicing. Fitment is the Heybike Villain V1. Disconnect the battery before unplugging anything, label the connectors as you go, and seat each plug until it clicks. Rule out a loose connector and a worn throttle first, since both produce the same cutouts a bad controller does.
